These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website goldenmovingllc.com and the moving services provided by Golden Moving LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a licensed and insured moving company operating in the United States.
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Services Provided
Golden Moving LLC provides the following services:
- Local residential and commercial moves
- Long-distance relocations (interstate)
- Packing and unpacking services
- Storage solutions (short-term and long-term)
- Specialty item handling (pianos, antiques, artwork, etc.)
All moves are subject to availability and may be governed by additional terms in your moving contract or bill of lading.
2. Quotes and Estimates
- Quotes provided through our website are non-binding estimates unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing.
- Final pricing is determined by the actual weight, distance, and services required, as documented in the bill of lading.
- Binding estimates, when offered, will be provided in a separate written agreement and will specify the exact cost.
- Additional charges may apply for stairs, long carries (75+ feet from the truck), shuttle services, or items not disclosed during the quoting process.
3. Booking and Scheduling
- A deposit may be required to secure your moving date. Deposit amounts and terms will be communicated at booking.
- We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, though last-minute moves may be available.
- Your moving date and time window will be confirmed prior to the move. Exact arrival times cannot be guaranteed due to traffic, weather, and other factors.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information about the items to be moved, including special handling requirements
- Disclose any access issues (narrow hallways, elevator restrictions, parking limitations, stairs, etc.)
- Ensure a clear path for our movers at both origin and destination
- Secure or remove items of extraordinary value (cash, jewelry, important documents) before the move
- Be present (or have an authorized representative present) at the time of pickup and delivery
- Review and sign the bill of lading and inventory before the move begins
5. Prohibited Items
We cannot transport the following items:
- Hazardous materials (explosives, flammables, corrosives, compressed gases)
- Perishable food items
- Live plants (for interstate moves)
- Pets or live animals
- Firearms and ammunition (unless properly declared and secured)
- Illegal substances or contraband
6. Insurance and Liability
Basic Coverage (Included)
All interstate moves include Released Value Protection at no additional charge, which covers items at $0.60 per pound per article as required by federal regulations.
Full Value Protection (Optional)
For comprehensive coverage, you may purchase Full Value Protection, under which we will repair, replace, or provide a cash settlement for any item that is lost, damaged, or destroyed during the move. Rates and deductibles will be provided upon request.
Filing a Claim
- Claims for loss or damage must be filed in writing within 9 months of delivery (interstate moves).
- We will acknowledge your claim within 30 days and resolve it within 120 days of receipt.

7. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept credit/debit cards, certified checks, and cash.
- Personal checks may be accepted for deposits only.
- In the event of non-payment, we reserve the right to hold your belongings in storage at your expense until payment is received, in accordance with applicable law.
8. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Cancellations made 7+ business days before the scheduled move: full refund of deposit.
- Cancellations made 3–6 business days before the scheduled move: 50% refund of deposit.
- Cancellations made less than 3 business days before the scheduled move: deposit is non-refundable.
- Rescheduling is available at no additional charge if requested at least 3 business days prior to the move date, subject to availability.

9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our total liability for any claim arising from your move shall not exceed the declared value of your shipment or the coverage level you selected.
- We are not liable for delays caused by weather, traffic, mechanical failure, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
- We are not liable for items packed by the customer ("PBO" — Packed By Owner) unless external damage to the container is evident.
10. Website Use
- All content on our website is for informational purposes and may be updated without notice.
- You may not use our website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any feature of our website at any time.
11. Intellectual Property
All content, logos, trademarks, and materials on our website are the property of Golden Moving LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our materials without written permission.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved as follows:
- Informal Resolution: Contact us first to attempt to resolve the dispute directly.
- Mediation: If informal resolution fails, both parties agree to participate in mediation in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Arbitration: If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in Nashville, Tennessee, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee and applicable federal regulations (including FMCSA regulations for interstate moves), without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
